quoting the article:

DO NOT RELEASE THIS PLANT INTO THE WILD!

I think this may be a note worthy of placing somwhere prominiant on the site linking to more information about the dangers of exoctic animals. If not above all pages, atleast a template for a warning. Control of exoctics is an issue i feel strongly about as I throughly kill all plants before throwing them out of flushing em' --PsiPro 15:43, 13 September 2006 (CDT)

Yes I know exactly what you mean!

There are too many foreign species of all sorts in both our lands that shouldn't be there. For example the humble bumble bee in the UK is getting replaced by a foreign Bee. This will have an important negative effect on growning food.

Just this week, PFK released news of a large cat fish found in a lake! http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/pfk/pages/item.php?news=1066

So we need a page stating the reasons why they should not be released, why its illegal in some cases to do so (some people try to import plants and animals over the internet and don't care). Some place all the blame on the shop. PFK just so happens to have a article on BIG fish this month!

Its called the BIG FISH PROJECT! http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/pfk/pages/item.php?news=1067

IIRC USA have a heavy restriction on the import of aquatic plants from Tropica for example.

I actually had toadpoles eat this plant clean.

Exposed to...[edit]

"bleach". Really, who exposes their flora or fauna to BLEACH anyway? I would expect it to kill everything but my cyanobacteria, and perhaps even them... Huw Powell 00:49, 29 March 2011 (EDT)
